The tradition of "Pierazovy" (after-wedding party)

Nasta and Vasil Prymaka revitalized the tradition of "Piarezvy" (after-wedding party in a week after the wedding itself). This tradition was common on all the territory of Belarus. As usual parents and relatives of the bride went to the groom's parents' house, where newlyweds lived. Sometimes young couple with groom's parents and some relatives went to the bride's parents' house for to take the last part of dowry. In any case the feast was organized for the guests and wedding or special "piarezyianyja" songs were sung for newlyweds.
