Presentation of the book “Traditional Meal of Semezhava village"

On September 17, 2013 in the Semezhava village Kapyl  District  Minsk region the presentation of the book "Traditional meal of  Semezhava  village" took place. The book was prepared as a result  of students' ethnographic expedition from History  faculty of  the Belarusian State University (2012).

At the book launch the students’ curators of the expedition and the compilers of the bookwas attended.  Among them are professor Tadeush Navagrodsky , Head of the Department of Ethnology, Belarusian State University, Stsypan  Zaharkevich and Iryna Alyunina, lectors.  The bearers  of  living  culinary tradition, residents of  Semezhava  village  also  were active participants of the ceremony. Their  interviews  formed the basis of the book.All participants of the ceremony have received the book as a gift and tasted the wonderful local cuisine.
